Shipping policy





FREE DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA WIDE)

Free standard delivery for orders over A$60 (within Australia) will automatically be applied at checkout.

Orders will be dispatched within 2-5 business days. This time is not included in the delivery estimates below. Please add it on top of the estimated delivery time to get an accurate time frame for your order to arrive.

Note: The dispatch time is the same (2-5 business days) whether you select a standard or express service. While we will always aim to dispatch an express order in 2 business days, it’s not always possible. Thank you for understanding.

A flat rate of $6 will apply to orders under $60 within Australia for standard delivery. This excludes wholesale orders.

Note 2: During peak times (e.g. sales events, Christmas, etc) there can sometimes be a delay in dispatch and delivery times due to a high volume of orders. We will always do our best to keep you updated on any delays and thank you for your patience and understanding if delays do occur. 

DOMESTIC DELIVERY (AUSTRALIA)

STANDARD DELIVERY 

Orders are sent with Australia Post standard tracked letter service. You will receive a tracking number with your confirmation of dispatch email.

NOTE: If you order multiple products they may come in separate deliveries. You may receive multiple tracking numbers via email. In some select cases part of your order might be sent without tracking but only on orders with free shipping applied.

EXPRESS DELIVERY

Express delivery is available for a faster turn around. Your order will be sent via the Australia Post express letter service. You will receive a tracking number and the delivery will be expedited.

These timeframes are estimated from the time of receipt by Australia Post. This may differ slightly from the time of your email dispatch confirmation. These estimates are for metro areas and some rural areas may take longer. Times do not account for delays.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY (OUTSIDE AUS)

We deliver worldwide. For delivery within the UK please read the section below BEFORE placing an order.

STANDARD DELIVERY

Orders will be sent via standard international parcel post. This is a tracked service and you will receive a tracking number.

There is no express delivery option available for international delivery at this stage. If you would like to upgrade please get in touch so we can organise a custom quote for express delivery to your area.

International delivery times and pricing will vary depending on your location. Prices are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination. Some deliveries can take a while, please allow plenty of time for your order to arrive especially if it’s for a time sensitive event like a birthday gift, etc. 

You will be responsible for any customs tax that is payable on arrival.

Below are some delivery times for your reference. These are rough estimates for metro areas and are not a guaranteed timeframe. They should be used as a guide only. If you want a more accurate estimate for delivery to your area please get in touch.

  • New Zealand: 6-12 business days
  • United States: 10-15 business days (TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED)
  • Canada: 15-20 business days
  • Eastern Europe: 10-15 business days
  • Western Europe: 15-20 business days
  • Japan: 7-12 business days
  • Singapore: 5-10 business days
  • Asia (General): 15-20 business days

Please note: Any deliveries outside Australia that cannot be delivered for any reason (e.g. incorrect address, refusal to pay additional customs tax, unclaimed from post office, etc) may be returned to sender or treated as abandoned. There are no refunds or replacements if this happens so please ensure all details are correct and you are prepared for the delivery. If it’s returned to us you will see a note in your tracking details and will be able to contact us to organise a refund of the items only (shipping fees are non refundable). You can then place a new order with correct details. We will not contact you if anything is returned to us. It will be treated as an abandoned order unless you contact us or make other arrangements.

  

UK DELIVERY

At this stage The Bubbly Type cannot take physical orders for delivery to the UK via www.thebubblytype.com.au website. This is due to strict customs regulations for goods entering the UK.

Don’t worry! You can still order some goodies! Head to The Bubbly Type Etsy shop to make your order. Etsy allows us to comply with the latest regulations easily so we can keep the delivery process as smooth and fast as possible.

This only applies to any order that needs to be physically delivered within the UK. Customers based in the UK who wish to have their order delivered to a different country will still be able to checkout on this website. 


DELIVERY DELAYS

Most orders are sent via Australia Post who experience delays from time to time, especially during peak periods. While most orders arrive in the expected timeframe please allow extra time in case it takes longer than expected. Delays are outside of our control and no delivery timeframe can be 100% guaranteed. 

If your order is time sensitive please get in touch before you check out so we can organise the fastest, most cost effective delivery method. Or we can give you a more specific delivery estimate for your area.

 

LOST ORDERS OR NON DELIVERY

The Bubbly Type will not be held responsible for any items that are lost in transit. You will receive tracking details for all orders and any lost items should be reported directly to the delivery company. 

There are no refunds or replacements if non delivery occurs for any reason. 

 

RETURN TO SENDER

Orders that are unclaimed or unable to be delivered for any reason may be returned to us. Please review your order and ensure that you have entered the correct address. If you need to update any details please get in touch as soon as possible. Changes can only be made until your order is dispatched. Once you receive an order dispatch confirmation email it’s too late to make any changes.

WHOLESALE SHIPPING POLICY

Wholesale orders placed via a registered business account are not eligible for our free shipping offer (free delivery within Australia on retail orders over $60). Wholesale shipping rates are calculating by the weight of your order and will vary depending on your location. 

No shipping will be charged at checkout. Once your order has been picked and weighed we will contact you to arrange payment of the applicable delivery fee. No stock will be shipped until this fee has been paid in full.
